Planting day was a success! Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time on such a nice day! The gardens will soon have wonderful vegetables for everyone to enjoy!
Growing Healthy Food, People & Communities! The North Central Community Gardens, a joint project
between the North Central Community Association and Grow Regina are gearing up to garden!
The North Central Community Gardens are planted, maintained, and enjoyed by volunteers and residents of North Central Regina! The gardens are shared by all.
Community Gardens offer increased food security, and community involvement by turning vacant lots into green havens of delicious, nutritious vegetables that everyone can enjoy! They also beautify the community by cleaning up otherwise vacant lots.
We welcome everyone and anyone, from any neighbourhood in Regina to volunteer in any capacity; organizing, gardening, fundraising or anything else you would like to help with. The gardens belong to the entire community, please join us! Contact the office to find out how!

There are many things happening this summer in relation to the gardens.
On July 14, 2010 Brett Dolter and Glenn Sutter released a CD titled "Seeds" at The Exchange and all the proceeds from this CD went to the gardens. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Brett and Glenn and the gardens. The North Central Community Assocation will be selling this CD for $15, just come by the office at 1264 Athol St!
