In December, 2006, 183 people from around the province came to North Central to talk about gangs. What came forward was a community response to gangs.
North Central, with participating partners, have designed one of Canada’s most comprehensive gang exit strategies.
We engage over 40 agencies and government departments on a daily basis.
The name ‘RAGS’ was chosen by the youth involved in setting the direction. Regina Anti-Gang Services or RAGS, is the slang used to describe the coloured bandanas worn to show gang affiliation.
